You can give it for as many as times you want. IELTS paper based exam is conducted every month 2 – 4 times. So you can book your exam dates in a same month as well but it is normally advised that you should not appear for the exam no closer than once in a period of two months. The IELTS computer based is available in four slots everyday. The closest exam centres are in Noida sector 18. There is no online version of the IELTS exam yet.
IELTS score is valid for two years from the date of exam. After two years, your score expires and you have to take exam again. So it’s advisable to take exam before 6 to 9 months applying to university or immigration purpose. There is no way to extend the validity of your IELTS score card
The minimum IELTS score requirement is an overall band of 6.5, with no band below 6.0. Applicants for Undergraduate Nursing programs: IELTS 7, with at least6.5 in reading and listening and at least 7 in writing and speaking. To pass the IELTS exam, you need a minimum overall score of 6.5, with a minimum score of 6.0 in each category for the Academic test. Minimum accepted scores vary depending on institution requirements.
The IELTS 9-band scale. You will be given a score from 1 to 9 for each part of the test – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The average produces your overall band score. You can score whole (e.g., 5.0, 6.0, 7.0) or half (e.g., 5.5, 6.5, 7.5) bands in each
